Experience a guided bus tour of Lake County's farms and agricultural attractions. Stops include: Dirty Dog Organics, Bountiful Farms, A Natural Farm, and Southern Hill Farms. Each stop will offer time for tasting and purchasing of products.
Participants will experience a farm to table lunch provided by Bountiful Farms. Menu options are current best sellers. Lunch will include a choice of sandwich or salad, side, and drink. Sides will be a choice of potato salad, house made fries or farm slaw.
1. Herb grilled chicken sandwich. Pesto mayo, provolone cheese, olive spread, lettuce, tomato and shaved red onion on spinach mozzarella bread.
2. Roast beef, provolone, caramelized onions and au jus. Served on a hoagie.
3. The beat. Bacon, caramelized onion, avocado, lettuce and tomato. Stilton cream sauce. Served on charcoal bread.
4. Farm salad. Heirloom cherry tomatoes, shaved red onions, shredded cheddar, rainbow carrots, cucumbers and croutons. Choice of garlic vinaigrette, ranch or blue cheese.
5. Asian salad. Julianne carrots, heirloom tomatoes, chopped scallions, cucumbers, cashews, fried sweet potato strings. Plum vinaigrette.
